Natural Rubber
Natural Rubber Latex comes from the cultivation and tapping of Hevea trees. These
trees protect the soil from the erosive influence of the rain and provide a habitat for a
great variety of flora and fauna. Once in production rubber trees can supply latex for 20
– 35 years, after which the trees are harvested for the furniture industry and new trees
are planted in their place.
