We’ve celebrated our 60th anniversary!

We first launched in 1964 and specialise in the manufacture of custom dip-moulded rubber products. We work with different industries worldwide and are proud to have gained a reputation for bespoke service and innovative solutions in the marine, medical and industrial sectors.

In the 1970s, we made the very popular Stretch Armstrong toy and, in the last ten years, developed Bloccs waterproof cast and dressing covers which are sold direct to customers globally.

Developed in-house, Bloccs have won two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise – the first in 2016 for innovation and the second in 2019 for overseas sales.

After sixty years in business, our sales continue to grow. Our aim is to continue that growth by adding more products to our range, strengthening the Bloccs brand internationally and investing in high technology robotic equipment to increase efficiency and capacity.

Maintaining high quality standards is essential and we are very fortunate to have a loyal and talented team of people working with us – many of whom have been with us for years. They are our extended family and we’re very lucky to have them.

We employ 36 staff and four of them – General Manager Chris Prickett, Finance Manager Bev Takle and skilled production operatives Heather Veale and Stuart Veale – have chalked up a total of 95 years of service between them.
